It has been two weeks since we have finished our last / Shed dinner in Mill Valley, it seems like its been months. Please excuse us, we have been idle when it comes to staying posted, but the last two weeks have been a little bit hectic. We packed all of our stuff and embarked on a trip to Taos NM, where we will be residing. The whole thing is almost overwhelming on many levels. We have been talking about this for some time now and here it is actually happening. Opening up the ability for us to live in a more vacant area where we can more easily and authentically create.
Upon spending a few days here it is apparent that we were living in a bubble in northern California. Surrounded by the heart of technology and the ever flowing beautiful produce. Though no matter how amazing all of that is, we have traded all that, along with the downsides of course, for the natural beauties of the high desert and the ability to have more of a community. Along with this comes the sad truth that New Mexico is among one of the poorest states in the country. With a large amount of people affected by poor health, drug and alcohol abuse, and many others. In the face of these things it is very sad to witness. The landscape, the rich history, and the strength of family though make it all worth it.
We are unsure of how we plan to continue / Shed, but we are thankful for everyone who has supported us and who continue to support us along the way. We hope that while creating, we too can support the community here.
We can't wait to continue sharing our progress as we work(play) towards our dreams.
